I must start this posting with a note about "Wifey".
What an amazing person she is !
So calm and easy-going..
Joseph and I, on the other hand, tend to be a bit intense and definitely capable of overwhelming many people and situations.
Her demeanour has made such a difference in his life and after spending a few days (at the most stressful time of the year for most people) she has, indeed, made an impression on me as well.
And now the "Kiddoes"...
It was so nice to sit and snack and watch the chaos of joy bestowed upon that household by two little girls and the schweetest darn baby in the universe !
The adults during the weekend had much to ponder and project and propose. But the smiles and giggles and energy from the girls saturates their home making it quite difficult to remain melancholy for more than a brief moment.
My love and respect goes out to you sweet lady and my gratitude goes to the twins for the joy that has entered my soul through them !

Hope this isn’t too forlorn. My attitude is only like this 7% of the time. I like the format/rythmn
A sudden nausea,
The breeze from a distant ceiling fan
Revealing my clamminess, another “night” sweat
Never been asked that question so many times
Guess that was signal enough that it was on the horizon
But, the nausea.
The twitches come in batches,
Sometimes they sneak up and gently join
The rhythm of life surrounding you
Other times, they wake you with the smack
Of a plank or a gavel from your barely asleep dream
The twitches are welcome though –
They block the peaks
The peaks are like a bone slowly breaking
Pressure forcing tear wells to empty and surrounding muscles to cramp
The twitches mean that the peaks are distant, muffled
Like many of the deeper sensations that ride my nervous system
The peaks move
And to where is one question
What is the most vulnerable point
Where the swelling is a blockage and the blockage causes a crash
7% crash, And I begin to wonder why – the details
Which stage, which organ, which symptoms, which what where.
Where?
Or better yet, “Oh, did we say stage 1?
Didn’t mean fool you hon,
Hope that meant you didn’t worry over Thanksgiving.”
I shouldn’t have expected any different,
From that hospital system
Sounds like marrow time.
I wish it was to donate
And I’ve seen it once on TV
“At least we’re only gathering enough,
to run a simple test.”
I’d rather donate than need that test
And back to reality
I’m not going alone, but wish I could have company
Without watching pain behind the eyes that study me.
The sounds of a sniffle, threaten to lure me to sleep
Will the sounds of sobs keep up this rhythm for long?
Must reprioritize time, to enjoy and to prepare

You should know that there is a lot of unusual aggression just beneath my calm demeanor. I've talked to the psychologist about it. I've been having these dreams...smashing bottles over his head, throwing his keys into a busy intersection and belittling him in public. He thinks it's hormonal. It may very well be but perhaps my hormones wouldn't zero in on him in such a way if he'd stop being so damn selfish (careless, irresponsible, stupid...call it what you will) and quit smoking already. He says it's annoying every time I talk about it . Finally I'M annoying HIM for a change.
