~~PEAKS~~

I've got some lyrics laying around here somewhere on the subject, but the point I want to bring up for others who might be suffering from advanced lymphoma - or some lymphoma whose stage hasn't been determined properly.
1st off, every bit of my lymph system is glowing on the PETscan and showing heavy involvement with fast growing cancerous lymphoma cells. More noticeabe though, is when a group of lymph nodes goes especially haywire. Just before the petscan my right armpit was no longer an armpit, but instead a hot lump of lymph. I was starting to get shooting pains in the tissue surrounding my armpit - like along my bicep..
Right now, the left side of my face feels like is is gearing up to peak and cause the same symptoms I got on the right side of my face 2 months ago. Ringing in my ear, sharp spiking pain from my inner ear and dolts of pain that are hard for me to describe. I imagine that one of my lymph nodes is reaching some critical mass and spewing cancerous lymp cells when this feeling permeates my face.
The heater has gone crazy here at the house again and run the inside of the house up to 85 degrees. The service company came out, seemed to correct the problem, but it did it again so we're waiting till tomorrow to have them back out here again.
My vision is still very very blurry. I chopped the prednisone like the doc said, but it hasn't made any difference and my blood sugar has been pretty normal 120-150 when I've checked it. The sleeping aid also says something about blurriness + it didn't help me sleep last night, so I'm going to try eliminating that. I'm nervous that the rituxin incident (where I was a miserable bloated allergic mess) may have affected how much chemo the doc perscribed on the second day.
I haven't lost my hair, which means I wasn't saturated enough with the anti-cancer meds to get to the hair. I want less cancer in my system and plan to contact the docs about a repeat rituxin run, or moving up my post Christmas treatment to before Christmas. I get my blood checked for immunity levels on Wednesday. I'm betting they;ll be normal to high.
It was a relaxing weekend, spent some time with a lady down the street who is a cancer survivor. We are good for each other, I've shown her the secret to appetite maintenance
;)
~~INSOMNIA~~

The ambien stopped working on Saturday night, so I figured I'd go without - hello 5:51 AM.
In good news: it has been about 10 hours since my last nausea medication and so far, so good.
I should have had more at 1:30AM, and by this time Friday I was highly sick from missing one overnight pill. Still am considering the extra rituxin round, and hope my sleep schedule matches up for a decent conversation with a nurse or doctor today.
muah,
Joseph
